Hey guys! I’m pretty excited about this post and couldn’t wait to tell you about what I found. I’ve been checking Instagram quite a lot lately, waiting for new limited edition collections to come out from Sinful Colors. I saw a few posts about pastel colors but never found them in my local stores until this past week. I grabbed the four, I loved from first sight (haha)..there’s I believe 5 or 6 total in the collection. They are suppose to be pastel neons with a matte finish. I’ve been really liking matte and pastel colors lately too..so it’s a match.
First one is Make A Scene! It’s slight bit darker than a bubblegum pink I think but still pastel and bright. I wouldn’t consider a super girly pink..but something everyone may like.
Second one is Lilac Out Loud! This is the first one I seen from a distance..it’s such a pretty purple. I’m horrible at describing colors, I’m trying. It may shift to a pink in certain lights but not sure till I give it a shot.
Acid Test is the third one (4th in the picture)..and I love greens especially this green. It’s not something I would typically run to, I’m more towards the minty greens but I couldn’t let this go. It’s a green with yellow hues.
Last but not least is Under The Inbluence (3rd in the picture)..I can’t walk away from blues either. This one reminds me of Candy Hearts another polish from a collection that I’ve shared a million times. It’s a baby blue shade..very pretty also!
If you know me, I’ll probably go grab the others from this collection just so I have them in my hands. Are you interested in any of these colors?
Hey guys! Today’s post I’m sharing a few of the neon polishes I picked up at my local Meijer’s. I just can’t keep my eyes off new collections!
One thing I’m going to say before I get into the colors I bought is, make sure you buy the Illuminating polish called ‘White On Time’! I didn’t buy first and I tried one of the polishes and it was not neon…then I figured out you needed this. It’s just a plain white to me so maybe just any regular white polish would work but I haven’t tried that yet. This does apply pretty thick so you want to make sure you wipe your brush off a few times before applying.
First color I bought was ‘Out In Space’. This color caught me right away. I used to have a bright neon yellow but I ended up throwing it out. This is so bright and fluorescent. I just shared a post of a manicure using it..you can check it out here. These polishes are more of a jelly type constancy..so they aren’t very opaque so you definitely need the base polish. I really love how this looks though.
Second color I grabbed was ‘Diamond Blogs’. They were a 2 other pinks besides this one I believe but I liked the darker tone that this one has. I haven’t tried this yet but I think it will have the same constancy and opaque-ness that the yellow had. The bottles have a plastic wrapping around them so you can’t see the true color on the outside but from the brush I can tell it has some fluorescent to it.
Last color I picked up was ‘Jean Queen’. I always have to grab at least a blue or green from a new collection..so this was it. It looks like a shade of cyan blue in the bottle. Just like the others..it’s a jelly constancy so you won’t know the true color until you use the white base.
Overall, since I used the yellow polish I have high hopes that the pink & blue have a bright, vibrant neon look to them! I will inform you all when I use them.
Have you picked any up? Chat later!
Hey guys! Today’s post..hint the title..is another nail polish haul. Everytime I stopped into Walmart, they stare at me saying buy me, buy me! Of course I can’t resist but I think this may be it for a little while. I want to give more love to the ones I own before buying more. Anyway, let’s get into the polishes I bought. They are all by Sinful Colors..shocker right?
Flip Tease – I believe I’ve mentioned this before but I love mint greens, so I saw this and had to have it. It’s part of the Kandee Johnson collection. When you place it in the light, you see shimmers of pink & gold. Very pretty.
Blueberry Hot Rod – I first seen this on the website and went searching..I didn’t find it until my 2nd trip to Walgreens. I thought it was more of a solid polish with shimmer but it’s mainly a thin blue polish with shimmer, so you have to build it up. It has shimmers of blue & purple. It will be very glittery & bling-y! Also part of KJ collection.
Super Cooper – I have never owned an army or olive green polish before & I don’t know why! This is part of the Stoned Crystal collection. It’s sorta like an army green with glitter flakes to make the crystal effect. I have a post coming up soon about this polish. I’m glad I grabbed it.
Quick Dry – I mentioned in my last polish haul that I messed up and brought the top shine instead of the nail hardener..when I went back they did not have one in. So I grabbed the Quick Dry Top Coat…I have already used this and I LOVE it..so far I haven’t messed up a manicure yet…fingers crossed it stays that way.
That’s all for this post. Have you used any of these polishes I got? How are they?
Hi guys! I know I have said time and time again that I need to stop purchasing nail polish, but Sinful Colors came out with some new ones! I just couldn’t resist. I also went to my local Walgreens too, which normally I don’t and I found a few that weren’t at meijer!
Before I get into the colors, I finally found the sinful color’s base coat. I have been looking around and could only find the regular clear coat. I have already used it a handful of times and I love it. I also saw their hardener top coat and I thought I grab it..turns out I grabbed the top shine instead. It works pretty good also..but let it dry for like 20 minutes before touching anything.
Now onto the colors.
Deep End – I believe this is part of their permanent collection but it’s the first time I saw it. It’s a really pretty blue with shimmers of aqua and purple. Look for a nail post soon!
Lie-Lac – I’m getting more into pastel colors since it’s almost spring and I noticed I don’t have a regular light purple from Sinful Colors..so I grabbed this one! I also believe this part of their permanent collection.
Works Like A Charm – This a new polish for St Patricks Day this year! It’s part of the “Luck for Stylish’ collection. It’s a light pastel green with gold shimmer.
Tealing Power – This is from a new line also called ‘Desert Divas’..I only found this at Walgreens so far. It’s suppose to have a stoned crystal look with shimmer. It’s a really pretty teal, with small glitter pieces through out.
Desert Reign – This is a part of the same collection that I mentioned above. The color is unique to me..it’s a dark blush pink but has sort of a purple tint maybe? It also has the small glitter pieces to make it look like stoned crystal.
That’s my haul for this month..unless I buy more. I’m hoping not to for a little while, but if you see one that I desperately need out there, let me know!
Hey guys! I finally was able to get my hands on some polishes from the Kandee Johnson line that Sinful Colors came out with..so exciting. I found them at my local Meijer on clearance for .99 cents..such a deal! I’m guessing that your not going to be able to find many more so if you find them grab them. I saw on the website that there’s 2 different collections, Vintage Inspired & Urban Glam..7 in one and 12 in the other. I got 6 out of 7 in the first collection. Let’s go!
Candy Hearts – This color reminds me so much of blue cotton candy. It’s a plain pastel light blue which will be perfect for Spring & Easter manis. All the polishes are vintage matte..which is great because I’ve been loving matte nails lately.
Kanfetti – I bought this because I thought it would pair great with candy hearts. It’s a mash of white, pastel green, and blue different sized micro glitters.
Mint Chip – I couldn’t just not buy this because I love mint green..and the name is my favorite ice cream. It’s a pastel green with a little darker hue than normal pastel..it also seems to have a gold shimmer in the light.
Pin Up Pink – I couldn’t forgot pink! This is just a simple pink polish..it is darker than a normal pink but I like it.
Strawberry Milk – I’m currently wearing this color right now & I love it. It’s a pretty light pastel pink..or baby pink. Reminds me so much of Spring & Easter..I wish it would hurry up. I like the name also but I can’t have strawberries or pure milk, haha.
Pink Velvet – At first when I arrived home I thought I bought to of the same polishes..but after swatching them I discover there was a difference. This one has a fine gold glitter in it which also leaves a texture to the polish once it’s dry. This one is also a tiny bit darker than Pin Up Pink.
Which ones were you able to get your hands on?
hi guys! i went out and bought more nail polish..again. they are all limited editions!
tear it up – this one is from the luxe fragments line. the color is similar to royal blue. the fragments are triangles and circles along with fine glitter. it applies okay for the most part, it has a squishy gel texture when applying. it takes 2 coats but needs 3 to be a solid color.
sleigh my name – this one is part of the Christmas glitter line. it caught my eye right away. the color has hues of gold, cream and silver. it’s so pretty! the glitter pieces in it are mainly circles and fine glitter but it has white stars too!
tear it up & sleigh my name thats elfed up & santa claus
santa claus – as you can tell by the name is this also part of their Christmas line. it’s just so festive that i had to have it in my collection. it’s mainly made up of fine red and white glitters that give off a gold shimmer at times. it will look great on red nail or gold nails i think.
thats elfed up – this is the last polish i picked up and it’s also a Christmas one. the name is amazing haha. this is all what christmas is. it’s made up of green, red, white fine glitter along with the normal small circle ones. this will definitely be used on my christmas day mani!
i’m not sure if i will pick up another others from either line..i think i grabbed the ones i wanted.
Hey guys! Today I’m going to share a new polish line with you! I was at my local Meijer the other day and noticed Sinful Colors came out with some limited editions! The line is called Luxe Fragments…I didn’t count how many colors there were, whoops. I know some of the colors off my head, like an 80s blue, dark purple, dark green..not sure of all I will look next time I’m there!
I picked up 2 colors..Peace out Pink & Silver Slivers. The one thing I was worried about was if they were solid color or if they were just holos. Turns out they are solid! I gave the pink one a shot and I love how it turned out.
Sorry that the pictures are a little blurry!
When you apply the polish, it seems kind of like a gel or squishy..love it! I only applied 2 coats but you may or not apply 3 for more color. The glitter fragments are mainly small but there are a few larger pieces on each nail. This is not textured..there’s just a teenie bit of bumpy-ness on a few nails. I can’t wait to use the silver one!
I’m definitely going to try and purchase more colors from this line..in my opinion this line could be one of my favorites. I also noticed when I bought this, they released some Christmas glitters too..I haven’t grabbed any yet but sure will. The colors were golds, reds, greens, and whites I believe.
I’m going to leave off on that note..chat later!
