Past Monthly Favorites – Seche Vite, BBW etc.

Hey guys! Since it’s almost the end of the year I thought I would do one last favorites for the year..these are things that I have been loving the past few months..since the last time I posted my favorites.

Seche Vite Top Coat – This year I’ve been trying different top coats to find my favorite few, this one being one. I have a few polishes that have trouble drying quickly but this one seems do the job! It dries within 5 is on the pricer side at around $8.

Maui Body Cream – My goal has been not to open another body cream until I finish them. I currently working on this one and I love the smell. Being that winter is here, my skin is drier and this hydrates really well. The fragrance is tropical too which I would love to be some where slightly warmer. I’m not sure if this is still out, I purchased it at a semi-annual sale.

Reading – As I have mentioned in posts before, I go through phases where I love to read and then I can’t get into reading at all. Right now, I’m currently reading The Unexpected Everything by Morgan Matson.

Twisted Peppermint & Vanilla Bean Noel Body Mist – Perfect for the christmas season! I love these scents.

Danskin Gray Furry Jacket – Winter hit us really good this past week and I’ve been extra chilly..this is my favorite jacket. I bought mine years ago and i ended up buying a larger size so it’s even more cozy.

Youtube – I used to watch youtube videos all the time but then i just stopped. now I’m back into it. Some of my favorites are RemLife, LaVitaDeMeg, Jenny Fox Vlogs..all my favorites are vloggers. I’m just really into vloggers.

Pinterest – I’ve always been into the pinterest app but this month it’s been extreme. I’ve found so many diy’s and been having so much fun doing them! Look out for my many posts.

Holiday Baking – In the past years, I wasn’t into baking for the holiday too much but this year I’m all in..I just recently made homemade peppermint patties and it was a success after I found correct recipe! Maybe I will share a post about them!

Favorite TV Shows!

Hey guys. I’ve been doing a lot of random topic posts lately, mainly because I’m trying to figure out what exactly I want my blog to be about. I’m thinking nails, books, and lifestyle things. Anyway, in today’s post I’m going to share the tv shows that I’ve been addicted to the past month or two.

60 Days In – i actually got hooked on to this show by my boyfriend. it’s about a jail in Indiana that needs re-structured..basically the inmates are starting to take over it. the sheriff ends up bringing in regular people that haven’t done any crimes to go undercover and basically be inmates for two months. 8 people. the show just finished season 2. i wanted both seasons and i don’t think there with be another but maybe in another? not sure.

Little Women LA, Atlanta, Dallas, New York – i’ve been addicted to every spinoff of the little women series. LA & Atlanta just finished seasons but Dallas just started a week ago and i’m hooked! New York hasn’t came out with another yet..i’m hoping they do though. all series is all about different little women living life..there is a lot of drama but sometimes it’s funny. i love all the seasons.

I Love Kellie Pickler – this show just finished it’s second season also! i love watching her..her accent is to die for. her episodes are basically themed, i guess is how i would say a show was about going to Japan? i think, tonight’s episode was about her attending a Chris Kyle memorial event. i just love her..every episode can make you laugh!

Teen Mom – i have watched every single episode & spinoff from this series. i’ve seen the original teen mom, teen mom 2, & 3. also every 16 and pregnant. if you’ve never heard about this show, 4 girls got pregnant at the age of 16 and shared the story about being a teen mom. there’s several different girls..i don’t like all of them but still love watching them all!

The Fosters – i got hooked on this show from scrolling through netflix one night. i’m now on season 2. it’s about these 2 woman who are married to each other and they are foster parents & have adopted the ones they’ve fostered. well, they end up taking in a teen named Callie who just got out of a juvenile home. she ends up sneaking away to get her brother out of the bad home he’s in. they end up getting into a bad situation. anyhow, Callie ends up getting into more trouble as the episodes go on..they leave you hanging every time. i’ve stayed up way too late watching them, haha.

Worst Bakers & Worst Cooks in America – worst cooks in america has several different seasons but worst bakers just finished it’s first season a few weeks ago. in these series they find the worst cooks & bakers and they are coached by professional chefs & bakers..they one by one get eliminated and then the ones left cook/bake for judges..whoever has the best dishes wins $25,000!

Halloween Baking Championship & Holiday Baking Championship- i love these series too! they pick people that are good at baking to be on the show..they end up contending to win money..each week someone gets eliminated until there’s 3 left and then they choose the best one at the end.

Flea Market Flip – this show is about 2 teams going to a flea market with a $500 budget. they have to buy 3 items that fit a category, fix them up and then re-sell them at a flea market. whatever team makes the bigger profit wins $5,000.

Sorry for such a long post but these are my favorite shows currently.

What is there to love about Fall?

Hi guys! I thought I would write a post about Fall and what I like about this’s one of my favorite.

  1. leaves changing..I live in Michigan and our leaves started to change a few weeks ago but this week they are so bright and colorful. I love watching the leaves just fall and wind down to the ground. I love how they layer the yard with multiple colors and make it pretty!
  2. chilly air..I love when the feel in the air get’s just a little more chilly each week. It makes me feel relaxed and rejuvenated.
  3. fall smells..I don’t mean I like all the fall smells only a few. I don’t like the smell of leaves burning or any pumpkin or cinnamon because I’m allergic.  I like the maple, apple, toasty smells more than anything!
  4. just the cozyness..I love feeling nice and cozy at night when the air just brings the family all together again after a summer full of fun.

What’s your favorite thing about Fall?

Things I’ve Been Loving Lately

hey guys!

So I just wanted to jump on here and write a laid back post about what I’ve been loving lately. It’s a been a crazy month so far..just a lot of things going on but I always take time to wind down and relax.

1. I’ve been loving tv lately. I’m not one that normally watches tv all time but I found new shows that I’m getting into..I’m going to write another post about my favorite shows but one that’s caught my eye is Married at First Sight, it’s a reality show but I’m hooked.

2. The game called Township! I started playing this game on my phone months ago but lately I can’t put it away..check it out. You build a town, have farm animals, grow vegetables, you also can mine and make things in different factories.

3. Sweatpants! The weather is getting real chilly here and I’ve been more into my fuzzy pajama pants along with sweatpants..lounging all day long.

4. The Sims 2! I used to play this computer game all the time when I was younger and the other day I noticed it in the App Store and I bought it..addicted to it all over again.

That’s about all I can think of right now on the top of my head..just a random post..haha!

Playing around with color..

One night I just wanted to play with some different nail polishes color and throw them together. I did the same design that I shared in a post back

The colors I used are all from the Kylie Jenner Collection with Sinful Colors…overly obsessed.

Base Color – Magik Touch (Shimmer Matte)

Light Green – Kool as a Kukumber (Shimmer Matte)img_3123

Sky Blue – Kurtain Kall (Demi-Matte)

Light Orange – V.I.Peach (Shimmer Matte)

Red Orange – Koral Reef (Matte)

In my opinion, I loved how all these colors paired together to make a really festive nail look! The opacity of these polishes are excellent, they also apply really well and dry quickly. Also, in the photo I applied my top coat too soon (i know. i know) and it smeared the accident but it happens.

4th of July Nails – Nails #9

I’m sorry I didn’t get around to do a few different nail designs for the 4th of July but I’ve had a lot going on in life! I still wanted to share what I wore on my nails though.

To start off, I took Essie’s Watermelon and painted my thumbs and pinky fingers, this is my favorite shade of red! It applies really well within 2 coats. Next I took Sinful Colors Endless Blue and painted my index and ring fingers. The only issue I have with this color is it has a very potent smell that I believe is stronger than the others in the brand. I normally don’t like the use white for a base but I’m trying to more used to it. I took Wet n Wild’s White French Creme and painted both middle fingers. Last but not least I used Wet n Wild’s Kaleidoscope on all my fingers to give some ka-bang, haha.

As you can tell I didn’t do much of any designs just wanted to keep it simple but festive. Chat later!

Base Coats & Top Coats

Hello guys! I thought today I would share what base coats I use along with what top coats. I’m looking for others to try because some of my are just not working for me.

Bottom Line by Pure Ice: I used to you this base coat for years, I just recently broke it back out to give it another go around. For me, it does the job and dries fast so I can move on. I haven’t had any issues with it yet. It is a cheaper one ranges around $1.99 in US dollars.

Strong Adhesion Base Coat by China Glaze: I love this one! It dries fast & smooth. It is a pricer one that ranges around $9 US dollars.

Seche Clear: I love this one as well but haven’t repurchased it lately. It dries fast and smooth as well but for me it doesn’t last as long. I feel like it’s because the brush is shorter than others so you can’t get to the bottom. This one ranges around $8 US dollars.

Millionails by Essie: This is a treatment base coat. I’m 50/50 on this one because there’s a few things I love but then a few dislikes about it. It dries fast but my tends to have bumps once it dries. It doesn’t make my polish go on smooth afterward which is a downside. It’s really good treatment in my makes my nails look good just plain but I love color. Price ranges around $8 US dollars.

Glitter Off by OPI: I’m so glad I ended up ordering this off amazon! I used to hate wearing glitter polish because getting it off was a pain but with this it’s easier. All I do is apply one coat and then put my polish on. Once I want the polish off, I just pick at it a little bit and you can pull it off. Price ranges around $7 US dollars.

Now onto the top coats.

Double Duty by Sally Hansen: This is a base coat & top coat and it does both great! It dries smooth and fast. It is also a cheaper polish ranging around $4 US dollars.

Speed Dry by Nutra Nail: This is my go-to top coat. It dries really fast and the bottle seems to last a while! The plus is that it has green tea antioxidants in it as well so it makes your nails stronger too. Price ranges around $4 US dollars.

Fast Forward Top Coat by China Glaze: I’ve used this up pretty much and I want to repurchese but yet I’m unsure. It seemed to go fast for me but when the polish dried it had air bubbles along with clumps of top coat..not the prettiest thing. I may give it other go though because it dried my nails fast. Price ranges $9 US dollars.

Seche Vite: This by far is one of the best top coat in my opinion. It dried my nails fast with a smooth finish. My only dislike with it is that you can’t use all the product up because the brush is short. Price ranges around $8 US dollars.

OutTheDoor by inm: I love this top coat as well. It dried fast and left my nails smooth. It seems to last a while as well. I’m having trouble finding where to repurchase it but I haven’t checked amazon, have too! Price ranges around $5 US dollars.

Quick Dry Top Coat by Nicole by OPI: I really want to love this top coat but I just can’t. It goes on smooth but it will never dry for me. I can sit for 15 minutes and still it won’t be dry. Price ranges around $9 US dollars.

Girl On The Run by Pure Ice: This top coat I am 50/50 on. With some polishes it has no problem drying but with some won’t dry. It also tends to leave bubbles with some polishes as well. I won’t give up on it though. Price ranges around $1.99 US dollars.

No Chips Ahead by Essie: I can’t seem to like this one either. It never dries my polish and when it decides does end up chipping. Price ranges around $8 US dollars.

What are some of your favorite base coats or top coats? I’m looking for some others to try! Comment them below.
