A life post.

Hey guys. I’ve had a lot going on in my personal life lately and I thought I would jump on here to vent a little and just share my story.

Some of you may know I graduated from high school at 15. It’s been 3 years and I still haven’t done any much for my future. I’m undecided but I have an idea of what I would like to do. I’m 18 now and so I can finally work towards my ideas/dreams. The problem is support and pressure. Getting a job will be difficult for me. I can’t bend or twist..and I have a weight restriction do to having scoliosis and rods in my spine. College is something I’ve always dreamed about but I have my doubts. I’m not sure what I would want to go for. One thing I have gained a passion for is making wreaths. I’ve been making them off and on for a few months or so. My new dream I believe is to make a work at home business one..think that sounds right. I want to make selling wreaths my job. It’s something I can do physically and something I enjoy. I’ve always had a niche for crafting.

Like I mentioned above support and pressure is my problem with going forward. My parents 100% agree with me and just tell me to take my time and not too rush. Time goes fast enough to began with. My whole dad’s side of the family doesn’t support my idea or dream. They think I need to get my butt up and go get a ‘real’ job. They put a lot pressure and put me down a lot. I don’t want to over do my back..because the last thing I want is a ton of pain everyday. I can only do what I am capable right? that’s what I think. I just want to work at pursuing my dream..but without support, especially from family it’s difficult.

I’m not going to let it get me down anymore though. I’m going to pursue it. One day I’ll prove them wrong..that you don’t have to go get a ‘real’ job because owning your own business is a real job. And if it doesn’t work out, I’ll plan a backup plan but I’m going to shoot for the stars.

Never let anyone get you down..if your shooting for something go for it! There’s no reason to let someone tell you, you can’t. Believe in yourself, you know what you can do and what your capable of.

I just needed to vent and while doing so I hope I uplifted some you! Stay positive when doing anything even when times get tough.

October Goals.

Hey guys! I normally don’t make goals that I want to achieve by the end of the month but I felt like it was something I needed to do. Lately, I’ve just felt that I need to get a move on and achieve somethings.

My first goal is to advertise my wreaths on a few local Facebook groups I’m in. I don’t think I’ve mentioned in my blog at all, but I make wreaths. My name isn’t out there much at all and so I’m working at building it up. One of my lifetime goals is to own a small business one day, selling wreaths. I’m a shy person so it’s taking me a while. I’m hoping next year to go to a few craft shows which will help a lot but I’m struggling with my shyness.

Second goal is to join a few Facebook groups that deal with wreaths..like tips on making some, good places to find materials. Just any group that deals with wreaths!

My third goal connects with the second, I want to join a few more local groups to advertise on…I’m trying.

Those are all my business goals I guess you could call it..even though I’m not near a business level..haha.

My personal goals are pretty simple. I just started a new book and I’d love to finish this month and start a new one! It’s called Elenor and Park..pretty good so far. I also want to try and remember to post a positive or inspirational quote on social media. I know there’s a lot of people struggling and if I can make someone happy..or lighten up a little bit, It will make my day. My boyfriend of six years has really been down lately and it’s helped open my eyes a bit…to help be a positive person to some that could maybe use a lifting up.

I also have a few blog goals..I’m going try to stay on track! My normal posting schedule is Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Last month, that didn’t work out..so I’m trying this month! I’m also going to try and throw a few lifestyle posts in..not so much nail related this month but there still will be some. I might add a new weekly or bi-weekly post about what I discovered on Pinterest. Since the season are getting colder, I tend to lean more on Pinterest for recipes, decor, ideas..everything.

So I’m going to leave off on that. Chat later!

Blog Update!!

Hey guys! I just wanted to jump on here and post a little update on what my posts are going to be based on the next weeks.

My posts lately have been all about the Kylie Jenner Collection with Sinful colors, I’ve probably started to drive some of you crazy with them..I’m just a little overly obsessed with them. I promise they will need within the next 2-3 posts.

I’m going to try and start posting more about lifestyle things like what books I’m going to read or am currently reading, monthly favorites, different holiday diy..and of course still nail related stuff. I’m steering away from makeup a little bit..I haven’t used mine in months!

I am going on a nail polish no-buy because lately I’ve gone crazy..whoops.

Anyhow, I’m going end it here but if you have any ideas or things you want to see..let me know.

Day 9!

What is your favorite flower?

I actually have 2 that I love!! Tulips & Sunflowers. I love how tulips come in a variety of shades and just the way they are. I planted 40 bulbs last fall and hope to see them all come up! I’m not exactly sure how they became a favorite but I love them. Sunflowers came to be  my favorite because my old neighbor grew tall ones each summer and they are just so pretty and bright! I also found out that my grandpa always loved sunflowers and planted them..I never was able to met him and I’m glad I can carry that one. I brought some seeds that I can’t wait to plant in May.

Day 10!

What’s your favorite season?

I live in Michigan so our seasons are crazy..sometimes we can have all 4 in one day! My favorite season however is Winter. I am not a summer person at all. The biggest thing I don’t like is the heat. I don’t mix well with heat and I tend to overheat a lot. I love seeing it snows and I love the cold! Not many people are like me but I wish it would stay longer, haha. Even my birthday is in the Summer..it’s actually the day summer begins (June 21st)..but I still don’t like it. Winter is just my favorite!

What’s your favorite season and why?

Day 8!

If you could be any age for a week, what age would it be?

This question can be easier or hard at the same time. I don’t think I would want to go back to the past so I would say an older age maybe 60s, haha. That way I could see how I’d look and how things are going to be. It be cool to see a look into the future and what’s to come. Then you could see what you don’t like about the future and hope to change yourself before you get there, if that makes sense.

What’s your answer?

Day 7!

What is my favorite color?

I have to say I have a few different favorite colors but they are all in the same family. I decided that I’m also going to explain why each color is part of my favorites.

Teal: I love this color because it has some meaning to me. It stands for food allergy awareness and let me tell you I have a list of food allergies, a few are pumpkin, cinnamon, milk..and the list goes on! I also love this color because it’s a stress-reliever color!

Blue: I’ve always loved this color since I was a child. The one thing that I don’t like is that people say girls shouldn’t like the color blue because it’s a masculine color..wrong! To me, anybody can love/like any color they want. This color also helps with calming and making you into a better mood.

Mint Green: This color has recently become a favorite of mine & I’m obsessed with any mint green! I also seem to relax when I’m around this color and I currently have my room painted in this. Plus it’s a light and fluffy color to mean, haha.

I hope you enjoyed this post! What is/are your favorite colors?
