DIY Clothespin Snowflakes

Hi guys! In today’s post I’m going to share another idea I found on pinterest! I didn’t do exactly how they did but it gave me inspiration. Here’s the link.

You will need:

Clothespins (I used 8 for each, so 24 Total)

Hot Glue

Paint/Paint Brushes

Plastic Wrap to cover workspace

The first thing you have to do is take apart all the clothes pins. Next you have to reserve the each side and glue the backs together..hope that makes sense. img_0187

Once you have all the clothespins back together..you glue 4 together. I placed the glue on the flat part of the ends.

Next, to make the second layer, you add glue to the ends of the clothespins like before but add them in between the others. So then it looks like a snowflake!

Last but not least, I painted my silver and gold! I ended up not using them as ornaments but I hung them in a window.

Hope you like this idea.

Chat later!
